For your convenience, we strongly encourage appointments. However, acute illnesses and injuries make it impossible to always have an appointment. Therefore, we offer several options.
Routine care, check-ups, follow-up care, and non-emergencies are generally scheduled in advance. We make every effort to see patients promptly at their scheduled time, but due to emergencies, this is not always possible. We appreciate your continued patience.
Each primary care physician reserves time for walk-in patients. Please call ahead to assure time is available for you to see the doctor. However, if your primary care physician is unable to see you, we offer an Immediate Care Clinic.
If you have a true emergency, please call 911 or go to Heritage or the nearest hospital.
The Immediate Care & Evening Clinic are open daily and are staffed by experienced medical professionals. The Immediate Care Clinic also provides Laboratory and X-Ray services during clinic hours.
Patients who are new to the Tarboro Clinic and would like to establish care need to contact Deborah in Administration either by email or calling 252-823-4318. Please have the following information available when you call or email: Name, address, phone number, social security number, date of birth, and type of insurance or click here for a printable form that you can fill out and bring with you. You will also need any previous medical records if you are transferring care.
